We hypothesized that integrative analysis of cross-tissue, multimodal data from PWH could provide insight into molecular programming that defines cardiometabolic phenotypes in this high-risk group.
Methods: We enrolled 93 PWH without diabetes who were virologically suppressed on contemporary ART and obtained measures of insulin resistance, glucose intolerance, and adiposity.
Purpose: This research aimed to analyze alterations in microRNA expression in the diseases POF (Premature Ovarian Failure), PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), and ovarian cancer in order to understand the molecular changes associated with these conditions. Purpose: Minibeam radiation therapy (MBRT) is characterized by the delivery of submillimeter-wide regions of high "peak" and low "valley" doses throughout a tumor. Preclinical studies have long shown the promise of this technique, and we report here the first clinical implementation of MBRT.
Methods And Materials: A clinical orthovoltage unit was commissioned for MBRT patient treatments using 3-, 4-, 5-, 8-, and 10-cm diameter cones.
Objective: The objective of this study was to identify the transcriptional landscape of insulin resistance (IR) in subcutaneous adipose tissue (SAT) in humans across the spectrum of obesity.
Methods: We used SAT RNA sequencing in 220 individuals with metabolic phenotyping.
