We started a registry for cases of immunoglobulin (Ig)G4-related disease (IgG4-RD) in December 2019 to clarify the clinical profile of IgG4-RD. In this study, clinical information from 854 cases registered by February 16, 2024 was analyzed from multiple perspectives. Diagnosis of IgG4-RD was made in 808 cases, comprising 638 definite, 38 probable, and 132 possible.

Antisense oligodeoxynucleotides can bind to target RNAs and cleave them using RNase H. Despite the high activity of antisense oligodeoxynucleotides modified with locked nucleic acids (LNA) at several bases at both the 5' and 3' ends (LNA gapmer), toxicity has been reported, necessitating additional backbone modifications to reduce toxicity. In this study, we introduced a sulfonamide linkage into the LNA gapmer to elucidate its fundamental properties such as hybridization, base recognition, and induction of RNase H activity.

Methods: The board member of Japanese Study Group for IgG4-related Dacryoadenitis and Sialadenitis revised the diagnostic criteria for IgG4-related dacryoadenitis and sialadenitis. We collected the clinical questions to be revised and performed a review of the literature.

This study aimed to establish a standard treatment for disseminated extranodal large B-cell lymphoma, including intravascular large B-cell lymphoma (DEN-LBCL/IVL), and to validate the clinical diagnostic criteria we proposed. Between 2006 and 2016, 22 patients were enrolled in a clinical trial conducted by the Hokuriku Hematology Oncology Study Group. A 77-year-old man presented with right inguinal lymphadenopathy and swollen parotid and submandibular glands bilaterally. Histopathology revealed germinal center B-cell type diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in the inguinal lymph node. Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) has been recognized as a rare adverse event following the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination. We report a case of neuropsychiatric symptoms and refractory HLH in a woman with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) after receiving her COVID-19 vaccine treated with belimumab, later found to have intravascular large B-cell lymphoma (IVLBCL) at autopsy. A 61-year-old woman with SLE was referred to our hospital because of impaired consciousness and fever.

A 29-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital for examination of obstructive jaundice and an extrahepatic bile duct lesion. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography revealed a 20 mm cystic lesion with a thin external capsule in the common hepatic duct. CD44 is a transmembrane cell adhesion molecule that is cleaved by the membrane proteinase, a disintegrin and metalloproteinase 10 (ADAM10), on the cell surface via ectodomain shedding after cholesterol depletion.
