New iodide ion-selective electrodes based on bis(2-methyl-3-phenyl-propenylidene)1,2-propanediamine)mercury(II) bromide [Hg(BMPPMB)Br2], bis (5-bromo salicylaldehyde) ethylenediimine vanadyl(IV) [VO(5-Br Salen)], and bis(5-bromo salicylaldehyde) ethylenediimine uranyl(VI) [UO2(5-Br Salen)] carriers are described.
