Background: The purpose of this study was to assess the vasopressin effect on operation time and the need for electrocauterization frequency and ovarian reserve during laparoscopic stripping of ovarian endometriomas.
Methods: This was a randomized prospective clinical trial, in which twenty patients between 18-35 years with unilateral endometriomas were randomly divided in two groups of cases and controls. Laparoscopic cystectomy was performed by hydrodissection and stripping method in both groups with diluted vasopressin injected in cases, in comparison to only saline injection in controls.
Aim: The aim of this study was to introduce a method for uterus preservation in patients with vaginal agenesia and functional uterus.
Material And Methods: Six patients with vaginal agenesia and one patient with cervicovaginal agenesis with functional uterus were enrolled in the study. Laparoscopy, vaginal reconstruction, laparatomy, hematocolpos evacuation and cannulation were carried out between atretic cervix and neovagina using a Pezzer catheter.
Aim: To present a simple approach for vaginal reconstruction, without lining of the neovagina by means of any grafts.
Methods: This was an observational prospective cohort study. Twenty-five patients with a known diagnosis of vaginal agenesis were enrolled in this study between 2003 and 2009.
Aim: Oligohydramnios is a threatening condition to fetal health, for which some treatments are available, or are under evaluation. We aimed to assess the effect of acute oral hydration on maternal amniotic fluid index (AFI).
Methods: An randomized controlled trial was conducted on 44 pregnant women diagnosed by sonography to have oligohydramnios (2.
