ASTHMA IN A PATIENT WITH COVID-19: DOES IT PROTECT OR INCREASE THE RISKS?

Objective: The aim: To investigate theimpact of asthma co-morbidity on the susceptibility and clinical course of COVID-19 in asthma patients.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: Electronic databases of Pubmed and Google Scholar were searched using keyword searches.

Conclusion: Conclusions: Despite previous concerns about the increased risk of Covid-19 among asthmatics, most studies have not shown an increase in Covid-19 incidence among asthmatics compared to the general population.
