Objective: To explore perceived barriers associated with facemask adherence to prevent spread of COVID-19 spread in Pakistani population.
Methodology: A cross sectional study was conducted from 25-July 2020 to 5-August 2020. Participants of both genders of age >17 years, currently residing in Pakistan, who had access to internet and understood English were included in the survey.
Background: Intravitreal silicone oil injection has been used to manage complicated retinal detachment. This study aims to analyse the efficacy of diode laser (TSCPC) in the management of secondary glaucoma following intravitreal silicone oil injection in complex retinal detachment surgery.
Methods: The medical records of 58 eyes of 58 patients retrospectively were reviewed.
Objective: To compare the effects of physiotherapy with and without manual therapy in the management of postural neck pain.
Methods: The randomised controlled trial was conducted at the Physiotherapy Department of South City Hospital, Karachi, from September 2017 to July 2018, and comprised subjects with >6 months of neck pain with no related medical dysfunction. The patients were enrolled by non-probability consecutive sampling technique and randomly divided into Group A and Group B using computer-generated numbers.
Objective: To assess the knowledge, attitude and practice regarding breast self-examination among women in an urban setting.
Methods: The Knowledge, Attitude and Practice study was conducted from May to July 2018 at the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at Naseer Hussain Shaheed Hospital and the Institute of Infectious Disease, Karachi, and comprised women aged 15 years or above who were attending the outpatient department. Data was collected using a pre-designed questionnaire and was analysed using SPSS 23.
