Cognitive mechanisms underlying repetition priming in picture naming were decomposed in several experiments. Sets of encoding manipulations meant to selectively prime or reduce priming in object identification or word production components of picture naming were combined factorially to dissociate processes underlying priming in picture naming. Experiments 1, 2, and 3 were conducted with Spanish-English bilingual participants and bilingual materials.

Context: To assist athletes in maintaining optimal health, athletic trainers must work with athletes of both sexes.

Objective: To examine athletic trainers' comfort levels in providing care for gender-specific and non-gender-specific injuries and issues.

Design: We mailed 235 Gender Comfort in Athletic Training Questionnaires to program directors, who were asked to distribute and collect them.

The purpose of this article is to illustrate the role of a patient resource manager in an academic healthcare organization which has implemented a strategy management system. This management system is composed of communication tools organized in a balanced scorecard to support/promote ongoing growth and development using Kaplan and Norton's Strategy Management System. The historical development of Duke University Health System (DUHS) is presented articulating the mission, vision, and strategic agenda of the DUHS with the Clinical Service Unit initiative and its relevance to Women's Services.
