Objective: To assess the risk of breast cancer recurrence, breast cancer-specific mortality, and overall mortality for breast cancer survivors receiving vaginal estrogen therapy for genitourinary syndrome of menopause.

Data Sources: From the inception of each database to April 6th, 2024, a systematic literature search was conducted in Google Scholar, PubMed, EMBASE, CINAHL, NCBI, and Science Direct. A secondary search was conducted on September 26th, 2024 utilizing Google Scholar, PubMed, EMBASE, CINAHL, and Science Direct.

Perception of body mass index and health issues related to overweight/obesity in an outpatient women's clinic.

A body mass index (BMI) ≥25 kg/m is linked to worse health outcomes. Little is known about women's awareness of their BMI and their awareness of associations between high BMI and cardiovascular and gynecologic diseases. We investigated perceived versus actual BMI of women in an outpatient women's health clinic and determined awareness of health risks linked to high BMI.

Apart from their effector functions in allergic disorders, tissue-resident mast cells (MC) are gaining recognition as initiators of inflammatory events through their distinctive ability to secrete many bioactive molecules harbored in cytoplasmic granules. Activation triggers mediator release through a regulated exocytosis named degranulation. MC activation is still substantiated by measuring systemic levels of MC-restricted mediators.
