The article presents the case of the diagnosis of sepsis as a variant of a comorbid infection in a patient with cross syndrome (systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis) on the background of the debut of coronary heart disease (acute myocardial infarction complicated by external rupture of the heart).

Materials And Methods: 82 people (from 45 to 70 years) enrolled in this study were divided into 3 groups (the first one - healthy donors (n=33 median age 49.93±1.
We studied association of the TNF gene -238G>A polymorphism (rs361525) with the risk of rheumatoid arthritis development in the Russian population living in the Republic of Karelia. The influence of rs361525 on the development of rheumatoid arthritis was revealed: genetic predisposition to this disease is associated with the presence of GG genotype. The effect of the genotype on the polymorphic locus of -238G>A on TNF mRNA content was revealed.

Background: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an inflammatory rheumatic disease associated with a dysfunction of the T cell-mediated tolerance and leading to the disability of working population. The regulatory CD4' T cells play an important role in the regulation of autoimmunity and can suppress immune responses. With that, there is no consensus on the content of these lymphocytes and their role in the pathogenesis of RA.

The level of caspase 6 and 9 gene transcripts in peripheral blood lymphocytes in patients with rheumatoid arthritic diagnosed for the first time and in patients with MT treatment were not significantly different. At the same time, the level of caspase 3 mRNA expression was significantly higher in the cells of the RA patients with MT therapy compared to the patients without MT therapy.

Methods: A point-prevalence, cross-sectional, multicenter survey involving 2100 medical inpatients from 43 hospitals from 8 European countries. Patients were screened for current alcohol use, using standardized questionnaires.
Aim: To assess efficacy of osteogenon in consolidation of solitary fractures of distal part of the radial bone (RB) in patients with secondary osteoporosis (SO) due to rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and chronic renal failure (CRF).
Material And Methods: The study group consisted of 7 patients with documented RA and 8 patients with CRF caused by chronic glomerulonephritis or chronic pyelonephritis in the predialysis period. The control group comprised 13 patients (6 and 7 patients, respectively).
Aim: To study efficiency in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) of local radiotherapy methods: radionuclide synovectomy (RS), x-ray therapy (XRT) and local gamma-therapy (LGT) proposed by the authors.
Material And Methods: 175 patients with RA received local radiotherapy on the knee joints. The patients were divided into three groups comparable by age, sex and disease characteristics receiving RS, XRT and LGT.
