The dorsopathy is among of common causes of restriction of human life activity, affecting one's working capacity and quality of life. The purpouse of the study was to carry out comparative analysis of dorsopathy and spondylopathy morbidity of adult population in the Russian Federation and the Subjects of the Northern-West Federal Okrug in dynamics in 2013-2022. The statistical data of the Federal State Budget Institution "The Central Research Institute for Health Organization and Informatics of Minzdrav of Russia" was used.

Data of modern domestic and foreign literature was used to prepare the most complete list of viruses that cause equine diseases including 36 infectious agents, 25 of which are pathogenic for humans, 13 of the 25 of which are widespread throughout Russia. Information is provided on the magnitudes of the disease incubation periods (which are most often within one month), the external clinical signs of these diseases (which can also be asymptomatic), and the maximum possible concentrations of viruses in the blood of horses with these diseases (which can reach 8 log conventional units/mL of blood).

Through in silico screening and analysis of reaction-diffusion systems that could be responsible for scaling, we predicted the existence of genes whose expression is sensitive to embryo size and which regulate the scaling of embryonic patterning. The triphenyltin chloride (TPhTCl) molecular structure was investigated by Raman spectroscopy, surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) and the density functional theory (DFT) modeling. Several conformers with different ordering of the benzene rings were determined in the gas phase and in the dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) medium. View Article and Find Full Text PDFWe have shown recently that the cytoskeletal protein Zyxin participates in the fine tuning of the neural plate pattering in Xenopus laevis embryos by modulating activity of one of the effectors of Hedgehog (Shh) signaling cascade, the transcription factor Gli1. In the present work, we show that Zyxin can also interact with the potential modulator of the Shh pathway, the transcription factor Zic1. The interaction of proteins occurs primarily by mean of the zinc-finger domain of Zic1 and 2nd LIM domain of Zyxin.

Here we demonstrate the ability of the Xenopus laevis Anf, Xanf1/Hesx1, to directly bind SRY-related HMG-box-containing transcription factor SoxD/Sox15 and to cooperate with the latter during regulating of the expression of Xanf1/Hesx1 own gene. As we have shown by GST pull-down, EMSA and the luciferase reporter assays, Xanf1/Hesx1 and SoxD/Sox15 bind the Xanf1/Hesx1 promoter region counteracting the inhibitory effect of Xanf1/Hesx1 alone.

In the present work we have characterized a mutant of the Xenopus laevis Noggin2, bearing the substitution W203R. We have shown that this point mutation enhances the affinity of Noggin2 to ActivinB, while weakens its affinity to BMP.
