The purpose of the study was to assess the clinical, biochemical, and sonographic factors influencing the performance of parathormone washout measurement (PTHw) vs. MIBI in the preoperative localization of parathyroid adenoma (PA). The studied group consisted of 39 patients with primary or tertiary hyperparathyroidism.

Complete blood count is one of the most common diagnostic methods used in everyday practice. Hormonal status is known to affect blood count parameters. The aim of this study is to summarize changes in blood count that may indicate endocrine disorders, based on a literature review.
