Excessive self-grooming in animal models of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is regarded as an equivalent of compulsive behaviour in OCD patients. Therefore, we have tested the effects of the selective 5-HT1A receptor antagonist WAY-100635 and the selective 5-HT7 receptor antagonist SB-258719 on spontaneous epileptic activity.
