[Promoting a culture of well-treatment in nursing homes].

The notion of well-treatment has followed on from the prevention of maltreatment, resulting from a discussion process instigated by the managers of nursing homes and from actions deployed over the years. After the designation of a lead person, the formalisation of reference documents to be used by the staff, and the assessment of monitoring indicators, professionals were invited to consider their professional practices. This article presents the results of this approach in Angoulême.
