It is essential that joint bleeds be treated in a hematologically and orthopedically optimal manner so as to arrest the bleeding as soon as possible and prevent potentially irreversible joint damage from setting in. The main goal of rehabilitation in the context of hemophilia is above all prevention and treatment of the consequences of musculoskeletal bleeding. Rehabilitation of acute joint bleeding episodes, that is, hemarthrosis, is based on three fundamental pillars: arthrocentesis, PRICE measures, and rehabilitation protocols.

We postulated that radiographic changes are related to the development of clinical complications.
Materials And Methods: We evaluated at last follow-up 26 radial head arthroplasties in 26 consecutive patients who were followed for at least one and a half year.
Introduction: The objective of this study is to assess the type, frequency and severity of complications after the implantation of the modular monopolar radial head prosthesis.
Material And Methods: Forty-seven patients with 48 radial head prostheses implanted between 2009 and 2017 were reviewed retrospectively. Patients were evaluated clinical and radiographically for a mean follow-up of 43.
Patients with spinal cord injuries above the C5 vertebrae have a high risk of respiratory complications, and complete spinal cord injures can require support with mechanical ventilation. In selected patients, implantation of a diaphragmatic pacemaker offers the possibility of breathing without mechanical support and reduces respiratory complications, increasing the patient's independence. Ultrasonography is a simple and non-invasive technique that may be useful in the differential diagnosis of thoracic diseases.

Introduction: The Spanish Mohs Surgery Registry is used to collect data on the use and outcomes of Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) in Spain. The aim of this study was to describe perioperative and intraoperative data recorded for MMS procedures performed between July 2013 (when the registry started) and January 2016.
Material And Methods: Prospective cohort study of data from 18 hospitals.
Introduction: Preservatives are added to cosmetic, household cleaning, and other industrial products to prevent the growth of microorganisms. Unfortunately, exposure to these substances can cause sensitization.
Material And Methods: Between January and June 2015, we analyzed the ingredients of 2300 products commercially available in Spain to identify the frequency of a wide variety of preservatives in different product categories.
Background: Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans is a rare malignant tumor with a high rate of recurrence after surgery. Moh's micrographic surgery allows examination of all surgical margins to ensure complete removal.
Objective: To evaluate the use of Moh's micrographic surgery using paraffin-embedded sections for the treatment of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans.
Introduction: The purpose of this study is to analyze the clinical results of meniscal tears repaired with an all-inside suture with special attention to the results in stable versus anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)-deficient knees.
Methods: We studied 45 meniscal tears (32 medial, 13 lateral) repaired in 43 patients using a single all-inside suture system. The patients were divided in two groups and followed-up for at least 12 months.
Objective: To analyze the outcomes of distal tibia fractures with or without extension into the ankle joint, treated by percutaneous cannulated screws or locking plates.
Material And Method: A retrospective study was conducted on 107 patients treated between 2001 and 2012.
Inclusion Criteria: fractures 43-A and 43-C1 and C2 according to the AO/OTA system, treated with percutaneous osteosynthesis by locking plate or two cannulated screws in X -letter setting.

Objective: Analyze the results of unipolar modular radial head arthroplasty in the treatment of complex fractures associated with elbow joint instability.
Material And Method: Retrospective design study of 44 patients, 17 men and 27 women with a mean age of 51 years (17-78) who suffered radial head fractures (Mason III) in the context of an unstable elbow injury. Mean follow-up was 21.
Neurofibromatosis (NF) type 1 is characterized by several skin, endocrine, central nervous system and musculoskeletal manifestations, spine deformities being the most common, affecting up to 64% of patients. Thoracic kyphoscoliosis is the most common deformity observed; however, high-grade spondylolisthesis and dural defects such as dural ectasia can also be found. The aim of this study is to describe a case of high-grade spondyloretrolisthesis in an NF-1 patient, associated with dural ectasia and extensive lumbar laminectomies, and to discuss our management and review the current literature on this controversial topic.
