We present fluorocarbon-free block copolymer brushes as potential systems for dual-action, i.e., soil-repellent and soil-releasing textile finishes.

We present a novel method for the generation of true 3D surfaces based on thermally activated selective topography equilibration (TASTE). This technique allows generating almost arbitrary sloped, convex and concave profiles in the same polymer film with dimensions in micro- and nanometer scale.

By combining copper-catalyzed cycloaddition chemistry with other synthetic transformations such as esterification, amidation, etc., highly efficient and modular simultaneous and cascade functionalization strategies have been developed.
