The current dataset follows the published article [1]. The dataset provides preliminary phytochemical analysis and antioxidant activity of selected invasive alien plant used by Bapedi Traditional Health Practitioners to treat sexually transmitted infections (STIs). It was evident that seven STIs are treated with herbal remedies of the documented plant species.
