Shear bond strength of two adhesive systems bonded to Er:YAG laser-prepared dentin.

Dentinal surfaces prepared with an Er:YAG laser have distinctly different characteristics compared to those prepared with conventional instruments. The objective of this study was to evaluate the shear bond strength of a total-etch adhesive system and a self-etch adhesive system to dentin, prepared conventionally or with an Er:YAG laser.
