Objectives: to validate the content and appearance of a booklet to promote the health of people with diabetes mellitus in the face of COVID-19.
Methods: a methodological study, carried out in a virtual environment with experts who had practical and scientific experience in diabetes mellitus, from November 2021 to February 2022. Data were analyzed using the Content Validity Ratio.
Objective: to verify the validity of indicators' content referring to the instrument for data collection in children aged 0 to 5 years hospitalized in a pediatric clinic.
Method: a cross-sectional methodological study was carried out with 11 experts between January and May 2018. For data collection, the steps for validating the instrument's content were respected.
Objective: Describe the construct validation process of the instrument "Nursing care for the assessment, prevention and treatment of cutaneous xerosis in the elderly".
Method: Methodological study carried out with 101 nurses in four hospitals in the great João Pessoa, between July and September 2018. Construct validation was performed through exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, in addition to the consistency check by Cronbach's alpha.
Objectives: to associate pleasure and suffering indicators with aspects related to nursing work in hospitals.
Methods: This is a cross-sectional quantitative study conducted with 152 nurses from a university hospital in the city of João Pessoa, Paraíba State, Brazil. Data were collected through interviews, using a tool to obtain sociodemographic data, work characteristics and the Pleasure and Suffering Indicators at Work Scale.
Objective: To analyze the concept of Meaningful Learning, according to David Ausubel's Theory.
Method: Integrative review using the Meleis's Theoretical Analysis model.
Results: The following were identified as antecedents: Previous students' knowledge, potentially meaningful instructional material and student's willingness to learn.

Hansen's disease is probably the human disease that causes more damage. The aim of this study was to investigate the association between the occurrence of the association of grade 1 and 2 physical disabilities in Hansen's disease, as well as implications of joint analysis and strength of association with independent demographic and clinical variables. This is a quantitative, descriptive, retrospective, population-based and documentary study developed from 2009 to 2014 in a Hansen's disease reference center in Joao Pessoa, PB.

Method: Cross-sectional study, descriptive, quantitative approach conducted with 266 users of Basic Care. Inferential statistics analysis, calculating the crude prevalence ratio with confidence interval of 95% and Kruskal-Wallis test, and application of the multivariate technique simple Correspondence Analysis.

Objectives: Validating an instrument to assess nurse knowledge related to preventing and treating individuals with venous ulcer (VU).
Methods: This is an exploratory study, conducted with 78 primary health care nurses. These professionals answered the questionnaire with twelve items pertaining to knowing and doing while addressing the person with VU.
Objective: To define the profile of nursing diagnoses of hospitalized patients at an infectious diseases unit.
Methods: This is a descriptive study based on the quantitative approach conducted at an infectious diseases unit in Paraiba, Brazil, from January to February 2014. The data collection instrument was based on the Theory of Basic Human Needs by Wanda de Aguiar Horta, followed by the classification system CIPER version 2.
Objective: to synthesize the scientific literature about the Theory of Meaningful Learning in the process of teaching and learning in nursing.
Method: this is an integrative review conducted in the databases MEDLINE, LILACS, SciELO, BDENF and CINAHL with studies addressing the subject or aspects of the theory of meaningful learning of David Ausubel. Ten studies were included, from which six were written in Portuguese and four in English, published from 1998 to 2013.
Objective: Assessing the adequacy of knowledge, attitude and practice of women regarding male and female condoms as STI/HIV preventive measures.
Method: An evaluative Knowledge, Attitude and Practice (KAP) household survey with a quantitative approach, involving 300 women. Data collection took place between June and August 2013, in an informal urban settlement within the municipality of João Pessoa, Paraiba, Northeast Brazil.
Quasi-experimental study conducted with fifteen elderlies, developed at the Physiotherapy Clinical School, Federal University of Paraíba, in 2011. The study aimed to evaluate the performance of gait in elderly practitioners of psychomotor activities. It was conducted a structured interview focusing on social, clinical and functional data, in order to be able to correlate various information which supported the aim of the study.
