Objective: The objective of this review will be to evaluate the effect of prior aspiration versus non-aspiration during intramuscular injection on the occurrence of adverse effects in adult patients.
Introduction: Aspiration is a procedure conducted prior to the administration of intramuscular medications that aims to ensure that the needle tip is inserted in the proper place. Although aspiration is a common procedure, questions have been raised about adverse effects.

This paper aims to evaluate the racial inequalities in the care provided by health professionals concerning induced abortion. This systematic review study used the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA) model, based on the following bases: Brazilian Virtual Health Library (BVS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), National Library of Medicine, and National Institutes of Health (PubMed), Science Direct, Capes periodicals portal, with the descriptors: "racism OR social discrimination AND abortion, induced AND health personnel OR comprehensive health care OR delivery of health care OR human rights", selected via the DeCS and Medical Subject Heading (MeSH). Eighteen papers published between 2005 and 2020 in national and international literature were analyzed following the inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Objective: To identify modifiable and non-modifiable cardiovascular risk factors among employees of an oil refinery with fixed work schedule or allocated to shifts.
Methods: Ecological, exploratory, descriptive and quantitative study with data retrieved from the company's record system.
Objective: to evaluate the work ability and health status of security guards at a public University.
Methods: a cross-sectional, descriptive, and analytical study was carried with 119 security guards. The following instruments were used: Work Ability Index (WAI), Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9), International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ, short), Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT), Medical Outcomes Study (MOS), and Demand-Control-Support (DCS).
Background: Studies about work ability have grown in importance owing to the worldwide aging of active populations. Research has shown that measuring work ability has a predictive value in cases of long-term sickness absence and early retirement. Our goal was to analyze the work ability and associated factors of civil servants from a higher education institution in Brazil.
