Improved quantification method of crocins in saffron extract using HPLC-DAD after qualification by HPLC-DAD-MS.

Crocins in commercial liquid saffron extracts (Saffr'activ®) were identified using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with a diode array detector (DAD) and mass spectrometry (MS).
