Evidence of inter-brain coupling is examined, in these studies, as a predictor of behavioral change. While extant research on empathy has made significant progress in uncovering the mechanisms underlying the responses of an observer (empathizer) to the distress of another (target), it remains unclear how the interaction between the empathizer and the target contributes to distress regulation in the target. Here, we propose that behavioral and neural coupling during empathic interactions contribute to diminished distress. We examined whether Redundancy Gain (RG) can be dissociated from the response stage of a go/nogo paradigm, and whether the meaningfulness of a stimulus modulates the stage at which interhemispheric transfer occurs. Methods: Analysis was conducted on 2015-2020 claims data from a subgroup of Medicaid enrollees from the District of Columbia Medicaid Cohort Study (N=8,943) who were eligible for colorectal (n=2,131), breast (n=1,156), and cervical cancer (n= 5,068) screening. The modelling of IoT applications utilising the resources of cloud and fog computing is not straightforward because they have to support various trigger-based events that make human life easier. The aim of this systematic review was to establish the effect of different surgical repairs for the lip on nasal symmetry. PubMed, Scopus, Embase, Cochrane CENTRAL, and Ovid databases search was performed initially for only English-language articles, in patients with unilateral complete cleft lip with or without cleft alveolus and palate (UCCLAP) who were younger than 1 year of age and undergoing cleft lip repair, and are published from the earliest data available up to December 31, 2020. The primary outcome variable was nasal symmetry, with reported complications being secondary variables.

This article's main contributions are twofold: 1) to demonstrate how to apply the general European Union's High-Level Expert Group's (EU HLEG) guidelines for trustworthy AI in practice for the domain of healthcare and 2) to investigate the research question of what does "trustworthy AI" mean at the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. To this end, we present the results of a post-hoc self-assessment to evaluate the trustworthiness of an AI system for predicting a multiregional score conveying the degree of lung compromise in COVID-19 patients, developed and verified by an interdisciplinary team with members from academia, public hospitals, and industry in time of pandemic. The AI system aims to help radiologists to estimate and communicate the severity of damage in a patient's lung from Chest X-rays.

The current study examined the effects of prior knowledge of the responding hand, and that of errors, on the configuration of interhemispheric balance. Prior knowledge was manipulated by instructing the participants to respond with one hand throughout a session (Blocked) or to select the responding hand according to the identity of the stimulus in each trial (Mixed). In addition, we examined how failures to inhibit responses within Logan's (1981) Stop Signal Response Task (SSRT) task affected the Response Times (RTs) of subsequent correct responses.
