A case of a middle-aged male, suffering from acute psychosis while in self-isolation due to COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) is presented. The patient required urgent hospital admission due to psychosis, which was only possible to COVID-19 unit of the Department of Infectious Diseases at the time. After transfer to psychiatric hospital, stool sample, taken as an additional preventive measure, was positive for the novel coronavirus.
