PACIFIC-PGx evaluated the feasibility of implementing pharmacogenetics (PGx) screening in Australia and the impact of DPYD/UGT1A1 genotype-guided dosing on severe fluoropyrimidine (FP) and irinotecan-related toxicities and hospitalizations, compared to historical controls. This prospective single arm trial enrolled patients starting FP/irinotecan for any cancer between 7 January 2021 and 25 February 2022 from four Australian hospitals (one metropolitan, three regional). During the accrual period, 462/487 (95%) consecutive patients screened for eligibility for DPYD and 50/109 (46%) for UGT1A1 were enrolled and genotyped (feasibility analysis), with 276/462 (60%) for DPYD and 30/50 (60%) for UGT1A1 received FP/irinotecan (safety analysis).

SX studies on crystals with small unit cells are challenging as very few reflections are recorded in a single data image, making it difficult to determine the orientation matrix for each crystal and thus preventing the combination of the data from all crystals for structure solution. We herein present a Small-Rotative Fixed-Target Serial Synchrotron Crystallography (SR-FT-SSX) methodology, in which rotation of the serial target through a small diffraction angle at each crystal delivers high-quality data, facilitating ab initio unit cell determination and atomic-scale structure solution.

Methods: This was a phase 3, multicenter, randomized, open-label, equivalence study. Five hundred seventy-six subjects with T1DM were randomized 1:1 to receive either GL Glargine or Lantus treatment for 26 weeks.
Aim: To evaluate the equivalence of immunogenicity, safety and efficacy of Gan & Lee (GL) Glargine (Basalin®; Gan & Lee Pharmaceutical) with that of the reference product (Lantus®) in adult participants with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Methods: This was a phase 3, multicenter, open-label, equivalence trial conducted across 57 sites. In total, 567 participants with type 2 diabetes mellitus were randomized in a 1:1 ratio to undergo treatment with either GL Glargine or Lantus® for 26 weeks.

Studies into the reactivity of MOF SBUs have focussed solely on removal of neutral coordinating solvents, or direct exchange of linkers such as carboxylates, despite the prevalence of ancillary charge-balancing oxide and hydroxide ligands found in many SBUs. Herein, we show that the μ-OH ligands in the MIL-53 topology Sc MOF, GUF-1, are labile, and can be substituted for μ-OCH units through reaction with pore-bound methanol molecules in a very rare example of pressure-induced postsynthetic modification.
