Background: Literature demonstrates variability in the amount of displacement of isolated greater tuberosity (GT) fractures and measurement techniques that orthopaedic surgeons deem warrant surgical intervention. This study aims to assess the intra and interobserver reliability for classifying and measuring the displacement amount for isolated GT fractures.

Methods: Eight surgeons, consisting of four shoulder specialists and four trainee surgeons, reviewed 25 plain radiographs on two separate occasions, 3 months apart.

Gram-negative, anaerobic bacilli are unusual organisms to be isolated in cases of acute septic arthritis. We report the isolation of Fusobacterium necrophorum from joint aspirate in a case of acute septic arthritis, which presented 3 weeks after the drainage of a dental abscess.

A case of pilocytic astrocytoma involving a spinal nerve root is reported. A 39-year-old woman presented with a 1-year history of progressive pain and numbness, predominantly in the S-1 dermatome. Magnetic resonance (MR) imaging revealed an intradural lesion at the tip of the conus medullaris.
