Outcomes in those with advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) are poor. Upon incidence of metastasis, the mortality rate has been shown to be >70% with median overall survival (OS) of less than 2 years. While there is no standardized combination and multimodal therapy recommendation for advanced cases, there is a significant necessity to include surgical intervention for improved locoregional control of disease and improved OS.
