This case report is a shared, compassion-focused therapy account between a therapist and someone with a 20-year history of schizophrenia. It shows the usefulness of compassion in facilitating the courage to address the worst symptoms of psychosis. It does this by promoting a mindfulness of mind and emotional regulation.
