Gastric perforations typically occur in the distal stomach, along the greater curvature or the antrum. The vast majority of upper gastrointestinal (GI) perforations are caused by peptic ulcer disease. We present a case of an atypical location of gastric perforation.

Purpose: The minimally invasive character, the possibility to perform under local anesthesia, and the ease to repeat have led to increasing popularity of laser-assisted treatment of pilonidal sinus disease. Hereby, potentially avoiding prolonged need for medical care at home, incapacity to work, and high expenses for patients and society. This retrospective, multi-center study is aimed at evaluating the feasibility of laser-assisted treatment for pilonidal sinus disease.
