Addressing environmental challenges such as pollution and resource depletion requires innovative industrial and municipal waste management approaches. Cement production, a significant contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, highlights the need for eco-friendly building materials to combat global warming and promote sustainability. This study evaluates the simultaneous use of Sugarcane Bagasse Ash (SCBA) and Stone Dust (SD) as partial replacements by volume for cement and sand, respectively, at varying ratios in eco-strength concrete mixes designed for 28 MPa (ES-28) and 34 MPa (ES-34), emphasizing their economic and environmental benefits.

Selected test results and requirements for rail joints made by welding with stationary welders on the basis of the requirements included in the PN-EN standards have been described. In addition, destructive and non-destructive tests of weld quality were performed, including visual tests, geometrical measurements of irregularities, magnetic particle and penetration tests, fracture tests, observations of micro- and macro-structure and hardness measurements.

In this work, with the aim of indicating the method of proper use of production tools-metallurgical rollers during their operation in a Polish rolling mill, the wear and tear of particular kinds of rollers built in the whole rolling set was determined. For this purpose, data were collected at the strip mill from grinding processes, production reports and roll files, while our statistical analysis, laboratory calculations and measurements were used.
