Introduction: Successful graft ingrowth following reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament is governed by complex biological processes at the tendon-bone interface. The aim of this study was to investigate in an in vitro study the effects of bone morphogenetic protein 7 (BMP-7) on tendon-bone integration.
Materials And Methods: To study the biological effects of BMP-7 on the process of tendon-bone-integration, two independent in vitro models were used.
