Viruses are a frequent cause of self-limited diarrhea, with more severe outcomes in immunocompromised patients. This study aimed to compare the performance of Real-Time RT-PCR to chromatographic immunoassays (CIAs) for detecting the major gastrointestinal viruses in human stool.
