Background: It is recognized that people who are diagnosed with schizophrenia often do not fully adhere with their antipsychotic prescription. The vast majority of previous research on the topic of medical adherence is limited to quantitative research methods, and in particular, to determining correlations.
Objectives: The present review was designed to describe how people who are diagnosed with schizophrenia experience and narrate pharmacological treatment with antipsychotic medication.
Background: An instrumental birth with a ventouse or forceps is a complicated birth, possibly resulting in fear of childbirth which could influence the entire birth experience negatively. Patients who are actively involved in their care have a stronger sense of satisfaction and a sense of participation can contribute to shorter hospital stays.
Aim: To describe the experience of participation for women involved in an instrumental delivery with ventouse or forceps.
Objective: Women with breast cancer suffer from considerable stress related to the diagnosis, surgery, and medical treatment. It is important to develop strategies to strengthen coping resources among these women. Research in art therapy has shown outcomes such as an increase in self-esteem and cohesion, significant improvement in global health, and a decrease in anxiety and depression.

We argue that within-sex variation resulting from the prenatal organizational and adult activational effects of gonadal steroid hormones has the potential to obscure between sex differences in cognitive performance and functional cerebral asymmetry. Two putative markers for prenatal testosterone, finger ridge count (FRC) asymmetry and the 2D:4D finger length ratio, have been linked to within-sex variation in cognitive performance. In particular, FRC allows the identification of men and women who show a reversal of the typical sex-related pattern of task performance.
