Adrenal incidentalomas are a frequent cause for consultation in endocrinology. Current guidelines provide an algorithm for their evaluation to determinate the risk of hormonally active or malignant condition. We report a unique case of benign adrenal incidentaloma in a 53-year-old woman with multiple malignancy criteria on contrast-free computed tomography and [F]fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography, leading to a left adrenalectomy.

The SNB technique in supraglottic laryngeal SCC was successfully described in small series. The aim of this study is to analyze retrospectively the results of SNB technique in supraglottic SCC in CHU Godinne, to determine if the technique is reliable and may be proposed in a future multicentral prospective trial.

Whereas when both genders considered, it moves down the tenth place. Although 75% of patients with BC present with the disease confined to the mucosa or submucosa, rarely secondary metastasis to the penis occurs.

Molecular heterogeneity has been extensively studied in DCIS. Yet morphological heterogeneity remains relatively undefined.

Recombinant protein delivery to the myocardium by factor-decorated fibrin matrices is an attractive approach, thanks to the ability to precisely control both dose and duration of the treatment, the use of a clinically approved material like fibrin, and the avoidance of genetic modification. Here, we investigated the feasibility of inducing therapeutic angiogenesis in the rat myocardium by a state-of-the-art fibrin-based delivery platform that we previously optimized.

It is characterized by recurrent growing masses that appear during or after chemotherapy in the presence of normal levels of tumor markers. Histological examination is the only way to confirm the diagnosis.

Materials And Methods: We report a case of well-differentiated LSC in a 61-year-old man. The main complaint was painless enlargement in the right inguinoscrotal area that appeared 6 months prior to presentation.
Background: Bilateral testicular neoplasia is rare, with an incidence ranging from 1 to 5%. Long-term survival has improved in recent years due to advanced diagnostic approaches and new therapeutic methods that are highly effective against germ cell tumors.
Case Presentation: We present the case of a patient with a primary seminomatous testicular tumor, who developed a contralateral metastasis and a subsequent metachronous tumor following chemotherapy and consolidation radiotherapy treatment.
Head and neck cancer (HNC) is predominantly a locoregional disease. Sentinel lymph node (SLN) biopsy offers a minimally invasive means of accurately staging the neck. Value in healthcare is determined by both outcomes and the costs associated with achieving them.

This evaluation represents a subanalysis of the original multicenter SENT trial data set, involving 434 patients with T1-T2, N0, and M0 oral squamous cell carcinoma. The impact of acquisition techniques, tracer injection timing relative to surgery, and causes of false-negative rate were assessed.

The object of this study was to establish whether the technique was both reliable in staging the N0 neck and a safe oncological procedure in patients with early-stage oral squamous cell carcinoma.

Patients older than 18 years, with malignant pharyngo-laryngeal tumors were enrolled in this prospective study after signing an informed consent. Four patients were enrolled in the study.

Patients older than 18 years, with oral, pharyngo-laryngeal or tracheal benign or premalignant lesions were enrolled after signing an informed consent. This prospective study was conducted between October 2010 and May 2011 in two tertiary care university hospitals.

Methods: Patients presenting to our department, between 2001 and 2004, with T1-T3 supraglottic cancer and N0 neck, clinically and radiologically, were included in the study. All patients underwent sentinel lymph node detection, using the hand-held gamma probe followed by bilateral modified radical neck dissection (MRND) and resection of the primary tumor.

Microsurgery for intracordal cysts is a challenging procedure, because cysts are close to the vocal ligament and the risk of inducing a scar is high. In this retrospective study, our experience with the CO(2)-laser scanning system (Acublade(®)) is reported on 49 patients. There were 41% epidermoid cysts and 59% mucous retention cysts.

Objectives: The development of the scanning system AcuBlade has considerably enhanced carbon dioxide laser energy delivery, improving cutting and ablation modes. The scanning system can be applied with the 2 available high-powered pulsed waves, SuperPulse and UltraPulse. This study was conducted to determine whether there are any differences in phonosurgery between the SuperPulse and UltraPulse lasing applications with regard to thermal diffusion into the surrounding tissues, healing time, and clinical results.

We report seven patients with a history of lymphoma who presented a positive FDG-PET suggestive of lymphoma relapse and for which FDG-PET oriented biopsies revealed alternative diagnoses. Early in lymphoma follow-up, persistence of focal increased FDG activity corresponded to inflammatory or infectious lesions in two patients: one aspergillosis and one sarcoidosis.

We report a case of caecal myeloid sarcoma, diagnosed in a 60 year old woman who complained from abdominal pain and weight loss, in absence of any medullary disorder. Initially misdiagnosed as a B lymphoma because of a weak positivity for CD79a, the diagnosis of primitive caecal myeloid sarcoma was eventually established after further investigations showing a positivity for lysozyme and myeloperoxidase.

The authors report the history of a 62-year old woman who was complaining of mucopurulent discharge from the right lower canaliculus for a period of 12 months. Culture yielded a few colonies of Actinomyces.
