Driven by the need to assess patients during the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been an increase in the use of point-of-care TUS, which has demonstrated several benefits, either as a complement to clinical decision-making for diagnosis or as a real-time guide for procedures, whether as a predictor or measure of treatment response. Methods: Endometrial cancer patients with lymph node micrometastasis or macrometastasis (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) 2009 stage IIIC) after surgical staging at five referral centers worldwide from October 2013 to September 2022 who underwent molecular classification were identified. Endometrial cancers were categorized into four molecular classes: POLE mutated, mismatch repair deficient, p53 abnormal, and no specific molecular profile.

Purpose Of Review: Endometrial cancer is the most common gynecologic malignancy and sentinel lymphnode biopsy is accepted as a valid alternative to lymphadenectomy for staging purposes. Recently, sentinel node biopsy has been also extended to high-risk disease where risk of nodal involvement is higher.
Recent Findings: Our review focuses on the definition of high-risk disease and how there are different concepts of high-risk in the scientific community.
Objective: We sought to measure the impact of specific peri-operative complications after primary cytoreductive surgery on relevant patient outcomes and use of resources.
Methods: A cohort of patients with advanced ovarian cancer who underwent primary cytoreductive surgery at two institutions (2006-2016) were studied. Specific known complications ('exposures') within 30 days of surgery were evaluated to determine the impact on outcomes.
Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) have attracted increasing attention in recent years due to their broad applicability in different fields, but their computer-aided discovery, which avoids a time-consuming trial-and-error investigation, is still lagging. In this paper, a set of nine DESs, composed of choline chloride as a hydrogen-bond acceptor and nine functionalized phenols as hydrogen bond donors, is simulated by using classical molecular dynamics to investigate the possible formation of a DES. The tool of the Voronoi tessellation analysis is employed for producing an intuitive and straightforward representation of the degree of mixing between the different components of the solutions, therefore permitting the definition of a metric quantifying the propensity of the components to produce a uniform solution.

We aimed to evaluate the role of preoperative albumin, Prognostic Nutritional Index [PNI], neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio [NLR], and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio [PLR] as independent predictors of severe postoperative complications and 90-day mortality in OC patients who underwent primary cytoreductive surgery to identify the ideal tool.
Methods: OC patients who underwent surgery at Mayo Clinic (2003-2018) were included; biomarkers were retrospectively retrieved and established cut-offs were utilized.
Among the different polymerization techniques, frontal polymerization (FP) has gained high interest from the scientific community because of its peculiar characteristics: in particular, compared to classic polymerization reactions, FP allows for a better exploitation of the heat of polymerization involved, without requiring any external energy input apart from an initial photo or thermal ignition that triggers the reaction. The latter usually propagates in a few tenths of seconds or (at most) minutes through a hot self-sustaining polymerization front, giving rise to the formation of fully cured thermosetting networks or thermoplastic polymers. Furthermore, different polymerization mechanisms can be involved in FP reactions, comprising cationic or anionic, ring-opening metathesis, and free-radical polymerization, among others.
