Nanocatalysis MoS/rGO: An Efficient Electrocatalyst for the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction.

In this study, a systematic investigation of MoS nanostructure growth on a SiO substrate was conducted using a two-stage process. Initially, a thin layer of Mo was grown through sputtering, followed by a sulfurization process employing the CVD technique. This two-stage process enables the control of diverse nanostructure formations of both MoS and MoO on SiO substrates, as well as the formation of bulk-like grain structures.

New diagnosis of mother-to-child transmission of HIV in 8 Latin-American countries during 2018.

Background: Important prevention efforts have led to a reduction in mother-to-child transmission of HIV (MTCT) globally. However, new cases of paediatric HIV infections still occur. Early diagnosis of new HIV infections is essential to start an appropriate antiretroviral treatment to avoid childhood morbidity and mortality related to infection.

Fluid intake and decreased risk for hospitalization for dengue fever, Nicaragua.

In a hospital and health center-based study in Nicaragua, fluid intake during the 24 hours before being seen by a clinician was statistically associated with decreased risk for hospitalization of dengue fever patients. Similar results were obtained for children <15 years of age and older adolescents and adults in independent analyses.
