[A dialectical view of curriculum changes in nursing training].

Objective: To understand the contradictions involved in the process of curriculum reconstruction in the training of nurses, on the professors' perception.

Method: Qualitative interpretative study, in which professors of nursing courses from three public and three private institutions were interviewed. The analysis was based on dialectical hermeneutics.

Perception of cancer patients in palliative care about quality of life.

Objective: To understand the perception of cancer patients in palliative care about quality of life and identify propositions for its improvement.

Method: This is a quantitative research carried out with 96 patients in palliative care, admitted in a public hospital from March 2015 to February 2015. The interviews were transcribed and analyzed by the methodology Discourse of the Collective Subject.

[Quality of life of postmenopausal women attended at Primary Health Care].

The experience of menopause is increasingly present, and demand strategies to improve the quality of life of women during this period. This research aimed to evaluate the quality of life for women in the climacteric phase, with or without the use of hormone replacement therapy (HRT). This is a longitudinal epidemiological study of a sample of 99 women per group.

[Evaluating child healthcare in the context of Family Healthcare in the city of Teixeiras, Minas Gerais (MG, Brazil)].

The scope of this study was to analyze child healthcare in the Family Healthcare Program (FHP) in Teixeiras, MG, Brazil. A descriptive transversal study was conducted by applying a questionnaire to 161 mothers of children under 2 years of age. A specific score system was used to analyze the dimensions of structure, process and result and the respective attributes, classifying the town in the incipient, intermediary and advanced categories.

[Perception of a group of women about having HPV].

Background: The possibility to acquire sexually transmitted diseases generates bio-psycho-social conflicts affecting daily life of women.

Objective: To investigate the knowledge of women on the concept of being infected by the human papilloma virus (HPV) and to understand the significance they attributed to their condition as HPV carriers.

Material And Method: It is a qualitative study in which ten women were interviewed, after the result of a cytopathological exam suggesting HPV.

[Body representation in the relation with the self after mastectomy].

This research aimed to understand how the mastectomized woman represents her body in the relations with herself. Social representations were used as a theoretical-methodological reference base. Ten mastectomized women were interviewed at their homes on the seventh day after leaving the hospital and once a month during four postoperative months.
