This study aims to understand the perceptions of care of families living in a rural settlement in the northwestern area of Rio Grande do Sul. It is an ethnographical based qualitative field research, which has used the Observation-Participation-Reflection Model for data collection, performed between February and March, 2011. The data analysis went through four steps: raw data collection and documentation, describers and indexes identification, contextual and current patterns analysis, and identification of research themes and relevant findings.

This study was aimed at getting to know the relationships built among patients, family caregivers and the health care team, during home care,from the perspective of the family caregiver It is a qualitative study with 11 family caregivers of terminal patients, registered on a home care service of a university hospital in the South of Brazil. Data collection was carried out through narrative interviews that were recorded transcribed and analyzed through content analysis. From the point of view of including the health reform in the pedagogical projects of nursing courses, in accordance with curriculum guidelines, it contextualises the formation of a nurse for health education and the importance of bringing practice and care together, as well as includes the results of research with nurses in seven towns in rural communities in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It is a qualitative survey with data collection by means of participatory observation, interviews, and document-based content analysis. This study deepens the discussion about the concept of health constructed by Christophe Dejours and the one perceived by families who are descended from Italian immigrants who are agricultural workers at the Fourth Colony of Italian Immigration, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. In this paper, the concept of health is discussed viewing the academic and popular knowledge. As the study develops, it is possible to perceive the occurrence of an approximation of the author's thoughts with the families descending from Italian immigrants regarding health and work.

This paper reports an experience tracing the route of the academic community pursuing a Nursing Degree at Federal University of Santa Maria, while designing their Political-Pedegogical Project. The methodology used for creating this project was the promotion of seminars, which brought together professors, students, civil servants, and nurses who work in practice classes and supervised internships. For the organization of the project, referential, conceptual, and structural landmarks have been used, adapted from Saupe and Alves.
