: The quality of care in forensic mental health services is a factor that significantly impacts recovery and constitutes a right of the individuals receiving treatment. However, there is a lack of instruments to assess the perceived quality of care among individuals in this setting. Quality in Psychiatric Care-Forensic Inpatient (QPC-FIP) is a Swedish instrument that measures the perception of quality care from the perspectives of patients in the forensic setting.

Introduction: Positive Mental Health (PMH) plays a pivotal role in the promoting of mental health. Assessing this phenomenon is essential for early recognition and intervention in mental health. To date, only one tool was validated with 39 items to assess PMH among Portuguese young adults.

Methods: This qualitative study included 22 people (8 previvors and 14 survivors) with hereditary breast and ovarian syndrome or Lynch syndrome from 10 European countries.

Positive Mental Health (PMH) is essential to deal with adversity, in this case with the pandemic, and to live better and with greater satisfaction. We consider it relevant to investigate how PMH was used as a resource to deal with the pandemic, depending on the level of vulnerability and sex.
