This article evaluates the COVID-19 pandemic impacts on the Family Health Strategy (FHS) team's work routines across a range of northeast Brazilian cities as perceived by community health workers (CHW). Data on COVID-19, CHW activities, and FHS teams were collected in 2021 by a structured questionnaire. A total of 1,935 CHWs from four state capitals (Fortaleza - Ceará State, João Pessoa - Paraíba State, Recife - Pernambuco State, Teresina - Piauí State) and four hinterland cities (Crato, Juazeiro do Norte, Barbalha, Sobral - Ceará State) participated in the study.

Objective: This study aims to know the main determinants of hesitation to the vaccine against COVID-19 mentioned by medical students in Brazil.

Methods: A cross-sectional study with 250 students who answered the online questionnaire between December 18, 2020 and January 8, 2021.

Results: Most students (84%) mentioned the intention to take anti-COVID vaccine and 14% were hesitant.

Objectives: to identify the outlining of therapeutic itineraries of families of children with disabilities in the professional health care subsystem.

Methods: qualitative research carried out in two specialized services in the state of Ceará, with 41 family members interviewed using the life path technique and reports submitted to descending hierarchical classification and similitude analysis, with the help of the IRaMuTeQ software and the theoretical framework of health care systems.

Results: the classes described the families' itineraries in five paths, related to faith, support structures, medical behaviors, professionals, and health services.

The present paper shows a theoretical reflection on action research methodology as an alternative strategy to the conventional model of scientific investigation.
