Treatment for acute kidney injury (AKI) is suboptimal. A better understanding of the pathogenesis of AKI may lead to new therapeutic approaches. Kidney transcriptomics of folic acid-induced AKI (FA-AKI) in mice identified Runx1 as the most upregulated RUNX family gene.

Objectives: To assess the incidence rate (IR) of switching between biologics and targeted synthetic disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (b/tsDMARDs) due to inefficacy in PsA, and to compare the risk of switching due to inefficacy across different b/tsDMARDs groups.
Design: A longitudinal retrospective study, spanning from 2007 to 2022, was conducted on patients with PsA treated with b/tsDMARDs at an outpatient rheumatology clinic.

Unlabelled: We present the case of a 59-year-old man with acute B19 parvovirus infection who developed a systemic inflammatory reaction similar to adult-onset Still's disease (AOSD). We discuss the clinical challenge due to overlapping symptoms to distinguish between a primary B19 viral infection and the autoimmune disease it can trigger.
Learning Points: Distinguishing between primary B19 parvovirus infection and autoimmune diseases can be difficult in view of the significant symptom overlap.
It is well known that by dispersing nanoparticles in a fluid, the thermal conductivity of the resulting nanofluid tends to increase with the concentration of nanoparticles. However, it is not clear what the mechanism behind this phenomenon is. Raman spectroscopy is a characterization technique connecting the molecular and macroscopic world, and therefore, it can unravel the puzzling effect exerted by the nanomaterial on the fluid.
