Exposure to fipronil, 2,4-D and vinasse influences macroinvertebrate assemblage structure: An experimental mesocosm approach.

Sugarcane is one of the main monocultures in Brazil and widely uses herbicide 2,4-D and fipronil insecticide. In addition, vinasse can be mentioned as it is widely used in this plantation. These compounds occurring simultaneously in the aquatic environment can potentiate the deleterious effects on organisms.
