Cyclic vomiting syndrome (CVS) is a debilitating functional gastrointestinal disorder. Diagnosis is based on the Rome III criteria. There are no evidence-based guidelines for the management of paediatric CVS, although ondansetron and antimigraine medications are frequently tried.
