Objective: To analyze the prescription of drugs to aid smoking cessation and to detect whether there are differences by age or sex.
Design: Retrospective cohort study. SITE: Zamora Health Area.
Background: Caesarean section is necessary to save the lives of mothers and newborns at times, but it is important to perform it only when it is essential due to all the risks involved. This study aimed to examine the rate of caesarean sections performed at a tertiary hospital using the Robson classification to detect methods for the detection of and/or reduction in these caesarean section rates.
Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional study of a retrospective database was carried out.
"Postoperative delirium" is defined as delirium occurring in the hospital up to one week after a procedure or before discharge (whichever occurs first) that meets the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria. Objectives: To describe the risk factors related to this pathology and identify effective non-pharmacological forms of treatment. An integrative review of the available literature was performed.
