COVID-19-related temporary disability in healthcare workers in Spain during the four first pandemic waves.

Healthcare workers (HCW) have been the professional category most exposed to SARS-CoV-2. The pandemic's impact on HCW was analyzed in terms of COVID-19-related temporary disability (TD) between February 15th, 2020 and May 1st, 2021. TDs in HCW for COVID-19 infection or quarantine were described.

Lack of sex-related analysis and reporting in Cochrane Reviews: a cross-sectional study.

Background: Sex-specific analysis and reporting may allow a better understanding of intervention effects and can support the decision-making process. Well-conducted systematic reviews (SRs), like those carried out by the Cochrane Collaboration, provide clinical responses transparently and stress gaps of knowledge. This study aimed to describe the extent to which sex is analysed and reported in a cross-section of Cochrane SRs of interventions, and assess the association with the gender of main authorships.

Neuroimaging markers of chronic fatigue in older people: a narrative review.

Background: Chronic fatigue is a common symptom in older adults. Although some studies have attempted to identify the neuronal correlates of fatigue associated with chronic diseases, the scientific evidence is scarce regarding fatigue in older people not suffering from a specific disease.

Aims: To gather available evidence of neuroimaging studies investigating the associations between fatigue and brain health in older adults out of the context of a specific disease, and to identify potential brain structures associated with this symptom.
