Peach Leaf Curl Disease, caused by Taphrina deformans, is characterized by reddish hypertrophic and hyperplasic leaf areas. To comprehend the biochemical imbalances caused by the fungus, dissected symptomatic (C) and asymptomatic areas (N) from leaves with increasing disease extension were analyzed by an integrated approach including metabolomics, lipidomics, proteomics, and complementary biochemical techniques. Drastic metabolic differences were identified in C areas with respect to either N areas or healthy leaves, including altered chloroplastic functioning and composition, which differs from the typical senescence process.

Methods: We compare health spending before and after the pandemic through various estimators using multivariate linear regression models at the household level. We also explore heterogeneous effects by zone, sex, and household composition by age.

Hereditary multiple osteochondromatosis is a genetic condition characterized by the appearance of numerous osteochondromas, which can cause pseudoaneurysms in rare cases. The following article describes a 15-year-old patient with a history of current massages as part of his gym routine, who arrived at the emergency department with 4 days of pain, and ecchymosis in the right popliteal region. Therefore, duplex ultrasonography and arteriography were performed, confirming the diagnosis of popliteal pseudoaneurysm, which was subsequently treated by open surgery, providing a satisfactory outcome.

Background: Allergy to olive pollen is one of the primary causes of allergic asthma in Spain. Even though allergen immunotherapy (AIT) has shown clinical benefits in patients sensitized to different allergens, studies in asthmatic patients sensitized to olive pollen are insufficient.
Objective: To assess the effectiveness and safety of an ultra-short course of AIT with an L-tyrosine-adsorbed and monophosphoryl lipid A-adjuvanted olive pollen and olive/grass pollen extract (Pollinex Quattro®) in patients with allergic asthma in the real-world setting.
