Therapeutic communication in the interaction between health workers and hypertensive patients in the family health strategy.

OBJECTIVE To analyze the therapeutic communication in the interaction between health professionals and hypertensive patients in the Family Health Strategy. METHODS Descriptive study with qualitative approach. The sample consisted of 14 hypertensive patients and two health professionals of the Family Health Strategy (ESF - "Estratégia Saúde Família") in a city of the state of Ceará, Brazil, in 2016.

[Coping experiences in the work environment of men living with HIV/AIDS].

The objective of this study was to understand the coping mechanisms of men living with HIV/AIDS in terms of their work environment. A qualitative study was carried out at a specialized outpatient clinic in Fortaleza-Ceará between March and June 2010, involving eleven men infected with the virus. Semi-structured and audio-recorded interviews were used.

[Design of a pedagogical project: collective experience].

This study describes the ongoing experience to reform the pedagogical project of the undergraduate nursing program from Federal University of Ceará, based on the curricular guidelines approved by CNE/CE,S in 2001. It exposes the process of compliance the professors and students had to go through in order to abide by the proposal introduced by LDB/96 (Basic Guidelines Law/95), as well as the different stages needed to build referential, conceptual, and philosophical landmarks. The difficulties experienced relate to a poor commitment of professors to this process, due to the peculiar situation of the program: many professors retiring; a high number of substitute professors under provisional circumstances, which refrained them from long-term commitment.
