Developmental gametophyte morphology of seven species of Thelypteris subg. Cyclosorus (Thelypteridaceae).

The morphogenesis of the sexual phase of seven species of Thelypteris subg. Cyclosorus (Thelypteridaceae) is described and compared. Spores of all species are monolete, ellipsoid and have positive photoblastism.
