The increase in frozen embryo transfers is a consequence of advances in embryo vitrification and the implementation of genetic screening of embryos. There is debate over the best progesterone administration route in substituted cycles and the relationship between progesterone levels on embryo transfer day and reproductive outcomes. This trial aimed to compare the clinical results of different progesterone supplementation schedules before embryo transfer and assess the relationship between plasmatic progesterone levels on transfer day and clinical outcomes.

The disease complexity is mirrored by multiple biological interactions known to contribute to the disease pathology. One potential contributor is the family of neurotrophins which are proteins involved in multiple functional processes in the nervous system, with crucial roles in neurodevelopment, synaptogenesis and neuroplasticity.

Its pathophysiology is complex, dynamic, and linked to epigenetic mechanisms and microbiota involvement. Nowadays, correlating schizophrenia with the environment makes sense owing to its multidimensional implications: temporal and spatial variability.

In dermatology, PDT with topical 5-aminolevulinic acid or 5-methyl aminolevulinate is very effective in the treatment of actinic keratoses, basal cell carcinomas and Bowen's disease. In addition, very promising results have been obtained in inflammatory pathologies like morphea or sarcoidosis, infections like warts, and cosmetic processes such as photoaging, among others.
