Purpose: To assess the repeatability of various color-measuring mobile phone applications (MPAs) on dental materials in clinically relevant shades in 1-mm thickness.
Materials And Methods: A benchtop spectrophotometer was used as a reference instrument. Seven MPAs were used: Color Analysis, Color Analyzer-Iro Shirabe, Color Grab, and Colorimeter from Android, and Color Analyzer-Iro Shirabe, ColorMeter RGB, and Optishade from iOS.
This study analyzes the relationship between the employability competencies acquired after completing an employment training program at university and the subsequent access to employment of young people with intellectual disabilities. To do this, the employability competencies of 145 students were analyzed at the end of the program (T1) and information was gathered on their career path at the time of the study (T2) (n = 72). Sixty-two per cent of the participants have had at least one job since graduation.

The effect of copper on various acid saponite supported Ni-Cu bimetallic catalysts, prepared with different Ni : Cu ratios, was studied for the liquid phase hydrogenolysis of glycidol on a batch reactor at 393 and 453 K. Characterization of the catalysts showed that Ni and Cu are in close contact as the XRD measurements evidenced the formation of an alloy. H2 chemisorption results revealed that the measured metallic area progressively decreased with an increase in the wt% of copper.

Materials And Methods: A total of 88 maxillary first molar denture teeth were evaluated: C (Classic; Dentsply Sirona, York, PA), DCL (SR Postaris DCL; Ivoclar Vivadent, Schaan, Liechtenstein), IPN (Portrait IPN; Dentsply Sirona, York, PA), and F (Denture Teeth A2 Resin 1 L; Formlabs, Somerville, MA). The 3D printed denture tooth specimens were fabricated from a methacrylate-based photopolymerizing resin using stereolithography (SLA).
An enzymatic method using laccases for grafting the water insoluble phenolic compound lauryl gallate on wool fabric was developed. To find the compromise conditions at which the substrate is soluble while the enzyme remains active, the reaction was carried out in an 80/20 (v/v, %) aqueous-ethanol mixture, where the enzyme retains 75-80% of its activity. The enzymatic coating of wool with lauryl gallate provided in a one-step process a multifunctional textile material with antioxidant, antibacterial and water repellent properties.
