Verrucous herpes of the scrotum presenting clinically as verrucous squamous cell carcinoma: case report and review of the literature.

We report a case of a 36-year-old man with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and an enlarging scrotal mass presumed to be of malignant origin but found to be a rare instance of verrucous herpes simplex type 2 infection of the scrotum. We also review the literature on this subject and discuss pathogenesis of the disease.

Verrucous cyst with melanocytic and sebaceous differentiation: a case report and review of the literature.

A 58-year-old woman presented with a cystic skin lesion. Microscopic examination showed an intradermal cyst lined by acanthotic squamous epithelium with squamous eddies and compact hyperkeratosis, and changes typical of verrucous lesions. Mature sebaceous cells and dendritic melanocytes were present as well.

Hyaluronic acid filler for steroid atrophy.

The use of hyaluronic acid for atrophy has not been documented in the literature. In this manuscript we present a case of a patient treated with the aforementioned filler with enthusiastic results. This case shows yet another potential application for these novel products.
