Learning Potential in Narrative Writing: Measuring the Psychometric Properties of an Assessment Tool.

The Computerized and Dynamic Writing Test (TIDE) is designed to examine the learning potential of adolescents in narrative writing. This was a validation study of the TIDE based on its internal structure. Learning potential is responsible for cognitive modifiabilty according to the Theory of Cognitive Structural Modifiability (CSM) developed by Feüerstein.

Risk factors for proper oral language development in children: a systematic literature review.

Purpose: To conduct a systematic review of literature production related to risk factors for proper oral language development in children.

Methods: We used the terms "child language," "risk factors," and "randomized controlled trial" in MEDLINE (accessed via PubMed), Lilacs, SciELO, and The Cochrane Library from January 1980 to February 2014. Randomized controlled trials involving the study of some risk factors related to child language were included.
